The fan cooled rectifier module has extremely high density providing the most power in the least amount of space. A compact shelf accommodates four rectifiers per 19in 2U shelf and can be paralleled up to 5*2U 19in shelf.
Local and remote setup, adjustment and control is a simple, single-step process with the rectifier System Controller. By utilizing TCP/IP technology, complete configuration and monitoring of power equipment is possible through a Windows Internet Explorer browser.

The SMPS based CONVERTER is based on High Frequency (20 KHz and above) Switch Mode techniques. Resettable Fuses are provided to protect the module against failure of control / sensing circuit.
The design includes suitable time delay / hysteresis to avoid hunting during switching ON and OFF. The module disconnects at 150V and reconnects at 170V AC. Forced cooling is managed via DC fans with temperature control; the module switches off above 70°C for safety.
The module operates in "Auto Float cum-Boost charger" mode. Float voltage for VRLA battery is 2.25V/Cell and Boost is 2.3V/Cell. In auto boost mode, it supplies battery and equipment current until terminal voltage reaches the defined threshold, then switches to Float mode after a defined delay.
Efficiency > 90% at full load with a power factor > 0.95. Total line harmonic voltage distortion is limited to 10%.
Slow start circuitry ensures output voltage reaches nominal value within 10 to 20 seconds. Modules are suitable for parallel operation on active load sharing basis.
